CHECK WALK

After the check socket has been initially adjusted in a standing jig, we assemble a check prosthesis using highly adjustable components to fine tune the leg.

Photo below demonstrates the check prosthesis with highly adjustable adaptors.

Photo below demonstrates the process of adjusting the prosthetic limb during a check walk.

Photo below compares the check socket before and after the adjustment process.

Here it is visible that the socket was tuned to accommodate for small features of the stump and the person’s.

Individual alignment (position of distal connector) was found.
